that they have co-developed a Connector to tie together records
systems with content management systems in an effort to ease the
burden of managing mandated records' requirements. The Connector
integrates OmniRIM's Records Management Solution with industry-leading
content management products, including FCG's own market-leading
ECM solution for life sciences enterprises, FirstDocTM.
The Connector enables life sciences firms to address record-keeping
requirements mandated by the FDA and the Sarbanes-Oxley Act without
having to invest in entirely new systems. With Sarbanes-Oxley alone,
enterprises must improve the timeliness, control, and predictability
with which they distribute and manage information throughout their
business. According to Gartner Group, 65% of executives across industries

the electronic content item. From this point, the content is managed
using a company's established records management policies, simplifying
and streamlining the entire record creation and archiving process.
