OmniRIM Announces eConnector for EMC Documentum
Provides unified, enterprise-class records management solution
San Antonio, Texas, (ARMA International 2006), October 23, 2006 – OmniRIM Solutions Inc., the leading provider of Enterprise Physical Records Management solutions, today announced eConnector for EMC Documentum, which seamlessly integrates OmniRIM’s physical records management solution with EMC Documentum Records Manager 5.3 in order to offer mutual customers the most complete and unified enterprise-class records management solution available.
The eConnector for EMC Documentum software module offers a dedicated link between OmniRIM’s physical records management solution and the EMC Documentum enterprise content management (ECM) platform. This new software offers organizations an integrated approach to managing their physical and electronic records with access from both the Documentum and OmniRIM interfaces. With eConnector for EMC Documentum, companies can apply federated policy management to unify records management practices across all record types, throughout their organizations.
With eConnector, organizations can also apply unified File Plans to, and support existing workflows for, all record types. This solution offers cross-repository creation, search and retrieval of records across all departments and media boundaries as well as advanced records center and space management capabilities.
OmniRIM’s eConnector for EMC Documentum was designed in accordance with the EMC Documentum Application Developer Program which helps ISVs, VSPs and SIs target, design, develop and go-to-market with successful offerings based on the EMC Documentum platform.
