Joint Compliance Solution Offers Organizations a Single View of All Their
Physical and Electronic Records
Vancouver BC, Canada, September 13, 2005 — OmniRIM Solutions Inc. announces OmniRIM eConnector for FileNet, which provides a dedicated integration between OmniRIM's advanced physical records management solution and FileNet Corporation's (NASDAQ:FILE) industry-leading Records Manager suite, part of the FileNet P8 ECM solution. OmniRIM's eConnector for FileNet solution will be released on October 15, 2005.
Today's announcement follows the joint announcement made in May 2005 highlighting the relationship between the two companies which brings OmniRIM's industry leading software solution module for advanced physical records management to the FileNet P8 platform, and to FileNet's Records Manager offering. The announcement represents 6 months of joint design and development effort by the companies to design "real-world" use models that large organizations require.
The new OmniRIM eConnector for FileNet module will be offered as a value-add component to users of FileNet Records Manager and is designed to provide robust, state of the art features and functionality for enhanced physical records management to meet compliance requirements including advanced bar-coding capabilities, improved records warehouse management and superior records management administration.
This solution offers OmniRIM's and FileNet's mutual customers a best-of-breed approach for their overall records management needs, allowing a single view of all physical and electronic records. Furthermore, it can be implemented with new integrated records management installations or can easily be added to existing deployments.
